Spreader Bar Hammock Organic Cotton – LA SIESTA Florencia

The Florencia is our organic cotton spreader bar hammock: The spreader bar keeps the fabric open, and the material is soft rather than technical. It is designed for use indoors and in protected outdoor areas.

Which size you need

• Single: Bed surface 140 × 190 cm, total length 300 cm, spreader bar 80 cm, load capacity up to 120 kg. Requires 300 cm of distance and 100 cm of height.
• Double: Bed surface 160 × 210 cm, total length 350 cm, spreader bar 110 cm, load capacity up to 160 kg. Requires 350 cm of distance and 115 cm of height.

What you will notice in everyday use

• The low suspension height is the real advantage: 100 cm instead of 135 cm. This means it even fits between two wall hooks in the living room.
• The spreader bar keeps the bed surface open – you see more than just fabric and it is easier to get out again.
• It swings more than a traditional hammock and is easier to tip over when getting in.
• Cotton does not like constant moisture. Take it down outside overnight.

Material and Craftsmanship

100 percent organic cotton, GOTS-certified, fabric density 340 g/m². The spreader bars are made of FSC-certified bamboo. Hand-woven in Colombia. The selvedges are reinforced with double weft threads.

What is included

The hammock with spreader bars and suspension ropes. Ropes, hooks, and a stand are not included.

Safety and Mandatory Information

Load capacity 120 kg (Single) or 160 kg (Double). Before each use, check that the tree, wall, or post can support the weight. Ensure that the spreader bars do not strike anything. Spreader bar hammocks tip more easily than traditional hammocks – only allow children to use them under supervision.
