Emil Marble Run – Wooden Toy with Cars

The Emil marble run is a wooden car race track. You place a car at the top, it rolls down the track, and flips onto the next one at the end. Four tracks, four cars, no electricity, no batteries.

Who it’s for

Kindsgut recommends the track from 24 months. From about age two, a child can place the cars on it independently, and by age three, it becomes a race. At 23 × 32 × 9 cm and 675 grams, a child can take it off the shelf and move it themselves.

What you notice in everyday life

• It’s ready to go immediately. Nothing needs to be screwed together or adjusted.
• It’s quiet. Wood on wood makes a clicking sound; there is no beeping or flashing.
• No batteries, so no empty compartments on a Sunday morning.
• At 23 cm wide, it fits on a shelf instead of constantly being in the way.
• A damp cloth is all you need for cleaning.

Material and construction

The frame is made of untreated wood, and the four tracks are painted in light blue, grey, mint, and dark blue. The cars have wooden wheels. Kindsgut states that they manufacture using environmentally friendly wood and plant a tree for every wooden product sold via trees.org.

What's included

The track with four levels and four small wooden cars, delivered in a Kindsgut box. Kindsgut provides a user manual as a PDF. Additional cars are not included and are not required.
