Hanging Chair Basic Organic Cotton – LA SIESTA Habana

The Habana Basic is the smaller version of the Habana: intended for sitting, not for lying down. This means it requires less space and less ceiling height than the Comfort and Kingsize versions.

Who it is for

Seat surface 105 × 140 cm, spreader bar 90 cm, load capacity up to 130 kg. You need a suspension height of 200 cm. For children and adults looking for a place to read and who do not want to sleep in it – those who wish to lie down should choose the Comfort.

What you will notice in daily use

• The 360-degree swivel allows you to turn without the suspension cords getting tangled.
• The fabric part can be detached from the spreader bar and washed at 30 degrees.
• At 1.7 kg, it is quick to unhook – outside in the summer, into the living room in the winter.
• The shorter 90 cm spreader bar requires less clearance from the wall than the large models.

Material and craftsmanship

100 percent organic cotton, GOTS-certified, fabric density 370 g/m². The spreader bar is made of FSC-certified bamboo, the swivel of stainless steel. Handwoven in Colombia.

What is included

The hanging chair with spreader bar and swivel. Mounting hardware and stand are not included – for this, the CasaMount, the TreeMount, or a stand like the Arcada or Calma are suitable.

Safety and mandatory information

Load capacity 130 kg. Attach only to a load-bearing beam, branch, or ceiling and check the suspension regularly. Keep a distance from walls and furniture so the spreader bar does not strike them, and about 30 cm from the floor. Allow children to swing only under supervision. Cotton does not handle constant moisture well – take it down outdoors overnight.
