Single Hammock Outdoor Weatherproof – LA SIESTA Brisa

The Brisa is a single-person hammock designed to be left outdoors. It is woven from polypropylene instead of cotton, so it is unaffected by rain, sun, and humidity.

Who it's for

Lying surface 140 × 200 cm, total length 300 cm, load capacity up to 120 kg. This is sufficient for one adult or a parent with a child. You need a minimum distance of 270 cm between the two suspension points and a height of 135 cm.

What you'll notice in daily use

• It dries quickly. After a rain shower, you can get back in soon instead of having to take it down first.
• The colors do not fade, even after a summer in the sun.
• When rolled up, it takes up hardly more space than a pillow, making it easy to fit into your camping gear.
• Machine washable at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Tie the suspension cords together beforehand; otherwise, they will tangle.
• Lie in it diagonally, not lengthwise. This allows the fabric to open up and support your back.

Material and construction

100 percent polypropylene, weave density 180 g/m². Hand-woven in Medellín, Colombia, by LA SIESTA's long-term partner Fatelares. The hammock is suspended by 76 cords—the more cords, the more evenly the weight is distributed. The selvage is reinforced with double weft threads. Emissions from production and transport are offset via a ClimatePartner project.

What's included

The hammock with suspension cords, packaged with a sleeve containing care instructions. Mounting ropes, hooks, and a stand are not included—you will need these in addition if you don't have suitable trees.

Safety and mandatory information

Load capacity 120 kg. Before each use, ensure that the tree, wall, or post can actually support the weight. Make sure the hammock swings freely and does not drag on the ground, otherwise it will chafe. Children should only use it under supervision.
